Legacy Fund

The Grand National Quilt Show was inaugurated in 2003 to encourage and showcase the work of quilters and fibre artists, both traditional and innovative, across Canada. The Grand National Quilt Show volunteer committee at its heart, is determined that this fine tradition should continue. The Committee has established The Grand National Legacy Fund within the Waterloo Region Community Foundation that has continually funded each of our Grand National Fibre Art Exhibitions.

Since 2025 the Grand National Fibre Art Exhibit has changed to a curated exhibit and no longer awards prizes.  Instead, all artists will be reimbursed any CARFAC fees collected during the exhibit run.
