Important Announcement*
Due to a shutdown at UNB Campus, the judging and the Exhibition Opening have both been postponed.
See the message below.
The Grand National Crossroads Award Ceremony for May 2, 2021 will be postponed.
On Monday, April 26th, the UNB campus was shut down for Covid reasons. The shut down was extended until May 2nd, 11:59pm.
At this point all the art is on site and displayed ready for judging, however, the judges are not permitted to enter the campus to do the physical assessment of the artwork. We are hopeful that they will be able to work something out next week, in order to perform their job. At which point we will re-schedule the Award ceremony.
In the meantime, starting May 2, 2021 the exhibition pieces and selected artist talks can be viewed on both the UNB Art Centre website at www.unb.ca/cel/enrichment/art-centre/index.html and the Grand National website.
We will keep you apprised of further updates and assure you that we will proceed as quickly as safety will allow.
Sincerely,
Carol
